A Love For Chiropractic

Dr. Bortolon’s parents had always gone to a chiropractor, and naturally took him there when he hurt himself playing hockey as a kid. “I was back playing again after a couple of weeks!”  Dr. Bortolon played football and rugby through university and continued seeing a chiropractor to keep his body working at its best.

“I love chiropractic because it’s alternative – not mainstream,” says Dr. Bortolon. “I love that chiropractic helps they body to repair and maintain itself the way it was meant to instead of masking symptoms the way that mainstream medicine often does.”

“I really enjoy clearing up the misconceptions people have about chiropractic. Education is very important. Sometimes people don’t easily understand that health comes from within or that chiropractic is not a quick fix. It’s a process aimed at achieving greater wellness.”

Dr. Bortolon is motivated by his faith that chiropractic care helps transform people’s lives.

What Makes Chiropractic Special?

Dr. Bortolon attended Parker College of Chiropractic in Dallas, Texas. He most enjoyed learning about chiropractic philosophy and the variety of techniques chiropractors can use. He liked that each doctor can pick and choose how they want to practice – that’s what sets chiropractic apart from other modes of treatment.

Dr. Bortolon’s chiropractic techniques are supplemented by massage therapy as well as the custom orthotics offered at Orchard Chiropractic & Physiotherapy.
